Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort in cooperation with Psifida Art Gallery have the pleasure to host the exhibition “Peintures and Textes” of renowned Cypriot artist Christos Christou, from Saturday 2nd September until the 14th of September 2023.
Christos Christou, born in 1950, studied at Ècole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris during the 70s and began his career as a painter, sculptor, and lithographer in the 80s. His artwork primarily employs Utrecht and Lascaux acrylic paints, occasionally using beeswax and gold leaf, with thick linen canvas or special paper as his preferred surfaces. He personally designs the frames for his works, entrusting their execution to a skilled carpenter.
